Hi Dr Terry
Its mrs jayhk69 here otherwise known as Deb. Would it be possible to get an autographed one sent to us in Katoomba, as you know Jayc has CF and unfortunately I dont know sydney let alone auburn that well ha ha.

If you could let me know via email ([email protected]) if you prefer with price for book and postage would be very much appreciated and would give me one hell of a good browny point for me.

Cheers
Deb

Hi Guys.

It appears as though the book is being very well received & Im getting e-mail requests from everywhere for the purchase of an autographed copy.

Ive checked pricing etc. with Aust Post & I can send the book to anywhere in Australia in a post-pack satchel, for around $9 to $12, depending on the destination.

If I just average them out at $10 delivery, I can send any forum member a signed copy for $70 including postage & packaging.

If anyone wants a copy, send me an e-mail (bebco at bigpond dot com) if you havent already done so. I can send my banking details for direct deposit. Just remember to ID youself using your fastlane nickname or your real name.

GREAT READING

got mine at book city ....Great stuff

You mention that the HJ was the last of the H series to get the option of a factory sliding sunroof.... My mate has an early HX LE Monaro with this sliding sunroof roof factory fitted. (well thats what we believe)...I was wondering if this was ever an option for the LE ?

Cheers

To my knowledge the manual sliding sunroof was only available on HJ & not HX or HZ. The prototype LE had a sunroof but that car was actually an HJ body to begin with.

Hi Dr Terry,
have just got your book and have enjoyed it! But I have noticed you have CV6 model codes for some of the HSV models (8VK37) instead of the correct model codes (8VX37)on page 144. Also on page 159 for the HSV GTO and GTO LE coupes you have 8VK37 instead of 8VX37. Hope this helps if you bring out a 2nd edition.
cheers Marty

Thanks for pointing out those errors. It seems even after what seems like endless proof reading, simple errors like these go un-noticed. Also on a page of 100s of codes its easy for your eyes to confuse an X with a K, especially in that font.

No need to pay now, when you pick will be OK.

Phone me a day or two prior to make sure I will be in the workshop. (02) 9644-2888.
