Hi I am looking for a quadrajet 4bbl carb for my 1976 manual torana.
What part number quaddy should I be looking for?

Hi Ayios.

Can you narrow it down a bit. There are at least 4 different Q-Jets in the LX in 1976.

1. Pre-July (no ADR27A) manual
2. Pre-July (no ADR27A( auto trans
3. July onwards (with ADR27A) manual
4. July onwards (with ADR27A) auto trans

The early carbies have a side entry type fuel inlet & the later carbies have the fuel inlet straight in from the front, so they look quite different.

I dont have the numbers on me ATM, others on the forum might. Some might even post some pictures to help out.

Parts book has 4 listed , 17050641 , man ( prior to emission control ) , 17050642 auto ( prior emission control )17052795 ( use with plate stamped ADR27 ) 17065008 ( was 17055956 ) use with plate stamped ADR27A .Mark.
