Just put a set of these in my warm 202. Emailed specs to brisk and they supplied the appropriate plug. Google them if youre unfamiliar, they're a plug with a four-pointed ground strap and unique electrode placement. Meant to be the duck's guts.

My motor's only moderate (worked head, cam, twin carb) and stock compression.

What i've found is that i could take fuel out at idle, it's far more responsive when stabbing the throttle on downshift and the acceleration is more seamless.

Most people seem to find noted peformance gains when using these plugs and tuning for them. I don't plan to put my car on a dyno just because of a plug change, but i'm happy with the results :-)

im running brisk plugs too, ive found due to the bigger (and more) spark you can back off the timing to about 6-7deg initial advance for better results

are you running a HEI of points?

I used to run GOLDEN LODGE plugs(4 electrodes) in my RPO83 and they were better than motocraft AF42s but not for the price , you could buy 3 sets of motos to 1 set of lodges any car like that revving @ 7,500 no plugs really last too long.

brisks are $24 each, so quite expensive!

Dave, HEI of course mate.

Still got to sort the tune a bit as she was stuttering and idled rough when really hot (crawling around city backstreets looking for parking) so maybe a bit of fuel evaporation going on there. Was perfect after the cruise back home.

I ran brisks in my 202 but had a 12 port on then and now ive swappoed to the 9 port y/terra, my brisks sit useless on the shelf.
I like them although i did a bunch of changes at the one time and couldnt say what the improvement owing to them alone might be.
The Price did hurt me though :-(

The Brisks are NOT suitable for points ignition i believe.
Fossil fuels are YUMMY !

I dont think so, need a better system to utilise their potential, or even work at all with that big gap.

Ive had these for a while but never used them. When i found out how much compression i was lacking i was told not to bother as i wouldnt see the gains. Thought i may as well, and im pleased i did.

However, like you, i have a YT head to go on (my solution to lacking comp) and so the Brisk plugs will be useless to me.
