Looking at getting a car hoist for the shed. There seems to be a variety of brands available around the traps. Does anyone have any positive/negative experiences with the cheaper chinese jobs or have suggestions as to the best ones to get? I only have single phase so that is my limitation. I was looking at extending the shed to allow for more storage, but it seems more cost effective and handy to install a hoist.

All opinions welcome;

Thanks
Geoff

Give Laurie a call on 02 4860 3333 for the best deal on a quality hoist with a good spare parts backup.

His website is: http://www.superhoistplus.com/

He comes highly recommended by many of the guys in the budget racing scene (www.irace.net.au).

Cheers,

Mick

If you want a two post, a secondhand Molnar is not a bad idea either. Mine was about $2200 installed. It was about 6 years old and hadnt done much work. The price was installed and certified to Workcover satisfaction. There are heaps of 2500kg examples around as many are being replaced with 3000kg examples for 4x4 work.
