Looks like its had a bit of length added to the wheelbase too.
Youre right about the imagination part. The short description reads:
"monaro gts ss slr a9x slr muscle car project hj hx hz"
If you squint really really hard, and maybe have half a carton under your belt, you may just see a resemblance to an A9X in there somewhere? Maybe? Its a long shot I know!

Good on the original person to make it all up. Good to see some metal fabrication. Chop more up, make more individual bodies. Good on them for having a go. If it is old or rare - Cut it! http://www.ehlimo.com.au/ |

Awesome!
It was probably saved from a total basketcase, so good on them for making something from nothing. I hope! |

I remeber an LE with a simular treatment being featured in a magzine years ago.
Waste? well maybe the Monaro was rear ended and this is the fix, knew a fellow that grafted a Statesman rear on his HQ couope for that reason. Not to mention how many Brougham rears are on HK to HGs.
You should try and find some info on Hunchback, an HK coupe with panel van grafted on the rear.

"it has no tags to identify wether its a gts"...yeh because that really matters! Mind you for $1500 there was probably enough parts to pick off it to justify the price. Here is a pic of the LE that was at the nationals
