There are different companies doing good work out there. Have a good think about using an aluminium radiator, if that is your intention. Do some research. I bought one for my ute, a 327 in EH, and I am a little unsure about the hype. Looks good & holds water, unlike we wrecks experience, but I am not convinced of the ability of the alloy units compared to the traditional copper/brass. I personally reckon that the copper/brass units have a better heat transfer ability. Alloy seams to require a lot more air flow in traffic, if its gunna let you down, that is when it will. Hot day in traffic.

i agree with utility, as above, with alloy compared to brass/copper,but certain companies QC is not as good as they advertise it to be, so just be fore-warned is the point im trying to make. but ya never know, ya might get a ripper than never leaks, or ya might get stuck pullin ya "you beaut" ally radiator out 2-3 times, thats all

Use to have aussie desert cooler radiator in a hot rod.The core kept coming loose from the tanks. Seems it was my fault because of motor vibration. Strange ,rubber mounted radiator and motor(lexus v8 a known shaker unlike those turbo smooth 308,s)Funny thing I ditched said radiator and had one made locally by the Natrad man and after 3 years and 15,000 km its still ok,same mounts, motor etc go figure.

No been out of the seen since my wife got busted up in a car accident in Jan 1999 been looking after her and the four kids for the last 11 years. Shes walking now and the older kids can look after them selfs, so trying to get my life back on line now, if I can get a job after 11 years I may even be able to get the computer back on line instead of borrowing one.

i remember a few years back at summernats, I was standing in the PWR tent talking to Paul Weels dad, and a rod with a desert cooler proceeded to cook itself right at the doorway. Coolant and s*** everywhere.
Best advertising he (PWR)could have asked for.
