the person at the wheel can make a hell of a different
if a person behind the wheel is say 85kg in a vehicle
and the other person weight is 95kg you will need a lot
more foot pounds torque and horsepower to run at same mpg
and strip time
the driver weight is a factor often forgotten

The VZ is also a lot lighter than a VE with 300+ Kw

Plus just because a guy has money and his car is better and more powerful, doesnt mean he knows how to drive it.

Sorry mate - races dont interest me in the slightest. Like the others said - just keep it off the streets and highways.

hey Willow, drive THEIR cars and see how they go trying to catch you..!
but I suspect "power to weight" ratio. For example a transam fully loaded with a kerb weight of 3,490 lbs does mid 15sec qtr mile times(403 olds). If you were to put that engine etc in a car that weighed 2,500 lbs how fast would that go?by the way the 403 redlines at 5000 rpm with a hyd cam.A solid cam ...hmmmm I wonder.
