well guys i may need to sell one of my cars its a 6/71 hq gts monaro coupe factory 253/4 speed motor has been recoed with heads to suit unleaded recoed m20 aussie 4 speed gearbox its got a 3:36 salisbury ten bolt diff dealer fitted air cond, (that works) power steering, paint is 2 years old in great cond in the lonoranger orange the seats and dash pad have been retrimed in factory black vynal, dash facia dash glass console inserts are all new factory radio is as new here is a couple of pics tell me what ya think its worth in this current market    Edited by user Tuesday, 19 January 2010 6:10:00 AM(UTC)

Even though its only a 253, its a very nice looking HQ. If it is as good all over as it looks in those photos I reckon someone will pay serious dollars for it. I wouldnt be surprised to see you get $35,000 or possibly a fair bit more for it. You only need one buyer. And for someone who wants a nice street car its an easy one to put a 350 and TH400 into with nothing else much to do.

dont get toooooo carried away now, i know of a 350 HQ that can be had for $45k, not a baddy, another that needs finishing off for $55k, its good as well, a 308 4spd GTS coupe for $30k thats in excellent condition, and another 253 4spd coupe which is fair that can be bought for $22k, so yanno, make up your own mind
that dude in SA always seems to flip some clean cars, not sure how he does it, but i must make a point of finding out whos cars they are and what he actually does

we wreck i never get carried away m8 and a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay but the lonoranger colour is one of the most desirable colours in the hq range which is why a good clean one will bring good money!! can you put me in touch with these coupes you say are for sale???

ohh for sure, your 100% right, good color, good car that one of yours, always fetch good dollar, but you have to find the right dude, thats all. no offence to you, but from past experience im now very reluctant to pass on details of the seller, as last time i did that to a forum member, both seller and myself were both embarrassed by the outcome, also one of the cars mentioned i belongs to a family member, and i dont need any hassles from them "Reputations are made and broken as soon as you enter or leave my shed.."

Smart looking coupe.The other cars you have must be good if youre selling this one.Very nice 30k-up bit of a estimate. Thats a massive white aerial in the last piture . cheers-keeo
