Just wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of my old HG ute? I sold it to a bloke in Sydney in 2004 and believe he sold it to someone in SA in 2007. Just basically chasing pics of it in its current form. The owner in Sydney had the panel cut out behind the seats because he was so tall.

I don't know about SA, but in NSW you can ask and pay for a search of record's and you can find out if it is still rego'd or who was the last owner. As long as you are prepared to have your personal details given to the that person, who can still refuse to let you know as well. I assume that you still know the VIN, body & eng number. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/foi/index.htmlEdited by user Tuesday, 15 June 2010 5:56:48 PM(UTC)

I was unemployed at the time, we needed money and it was sitting there unrego'd. The worst parts about it was that it was my first car (had it for 17 years) and my grandparents bought it new, so i was the 2nd owner. As usual i'm kicking myself ever since.

At work until next week e mail your # and I'll send some pics. We fixed up the back cut out, put some seats and got the inside looking good. Did i have 308 T700 when you had it? What is the colour code? Where did the rims come from?

The rims look like Neales Wheels. I think that is what they are called. I have a mate with a set. Took him ages to track down what they were.

Surprisingly i have a set for my HZ as well.Mine are 14 x 7's whereas they were 14 x 7 & 14 x 9. They are marked 8's but they had to use 2 rim outers to make 1. They also had 265's on them and they never scrubed.
