Hi all.
Had this beast for a few months now so I thought it was time I got around to posting a few decent pics!

Its one of the 30 built for the top selling holden dealers of 1980. They came out with a unique 2tone paint job and interior as well as a plaque on the glovebox. Running gear was a Brock/HDT 308 and T350 gearbox. Mine still is all original apart from the simmons and it is on straight gas so the cold air intake doesnt fit on properly.

HERES SOME PICS

AND ONE WITH THE ORIGINAL BROCK AIR INTAKE SITING ON THE TOP.

Now that is a car you can use the term rare on.

I did not think they were HDT also, or is the HDT stuff just put on by another owner? A bit hard to find another one to check though.

Looks very smart.

Hey Paul, finally get so see some pics of this car!

The engine was basically a VC HDT spec engine built buy HDT for all 30 of these T30s they made in late 81.

Cheers,

Mick

Hi guys. Cheers for the comments. Yeh warren it is very hard to find info on them. I have an issue of Australian muscle car with a small article on them (issue 45 pg 18) and a copy of wheels magazine from march 82 with some info. Other than that its hard to get any details. But yep as Mick said they came out with the brock 308 and T350. If you want any more info Ill dig out whatever numbers you need..

It also has the brock mainfold number.

Cheers.

AMC would have the article on them as they are a true muscle car under the definition, as no other VH non HDT SL/E would have come with the HDT engine. So maybe this should be added to our list of muscle cars.

It would also make it one of the rarest Australian muscle cars.

Are they all the same colour, or do they vary?

All the same Warren, and the same unique trim across all of them too.
Mid last year, a local mate of mine picked one up for a couple of thousand, and plans to restore it.

Cheers,

Mick
