Wanting to remove the trim that runs down the waistline of the HJ (door protection strip type thingy) for repaint. Does it unclip, unscrew or is it a chisel off jobbie?

I did my wb statesman took 4 days(painting aswell),pop in clips ,there are different types we all would need photos.

are they the glue on strip?

assuming they are, get a hair dryer and heat them up and they will pull off, if you dont get them hot enought the paint underneath will peel off with the strip, which wouldnt be a huge problem if your re-painting it anyway
