Hi Fellas,

There is a LC/LJ 3.08 limited slip Banjo diff centre on ebay. My GTR has a 3.08 diff, but it is not a limited slip.

Were 3.08 lim slip diffs an option for LC? The seller said the diff has some numbers and LX' on it. (Makes me wonder!)

Would that diff centre bolt straight into my LC? Any disadvantages in having a lim slip diff?

Fine spline or course spline is the only difference as far as I am aware. The 3.08:1 center, (open or L.S.D.), will be interchangeable into the diff housing.
3.36:1 & 3.55:1 both use one long bolt at the bottom of the center while the 3.08:1 requires 2 long bolts. The casting for the center is slightly larger to accommodate the 3.08:1 diff gears. (2.78:1 also)
