looking at the pin on the back I wonder if its a pin badge for jacket etc, if it doesn`t have a holden part number on it I doubt it would be a Holden production badge.

these were avaliable in servos, auto & nic-nak shops, back in the mid 90s at about $5 each, I have a few different types, a HQ coupe in orchid, a HJ GTS badge & the smae as yours a HQ V8 boot badge...

Millards were a badge maker in Wellington New Zealand and made some items for the aftermarket.As they were far enough away from GMH they were not noticed in copying logos.They did a lot of small diecasting.Rare Spares visited them in the early 1980s but they were not viable as a supplier.
