Hi team
Has anyone mounted a set of Ford AU twin thermo fans to a HQ radiator??
Can you give some quidance??

Ive seen fans listed on EBAY to suit HQ - WB, but they look like the same as the ones that are on the Ford Mondeos.
I did have VT ones on my HZ, but they werent a perfect fit.

Thanks Agro I bought the fans cheap at a wrecker on the spur of the moment because everyone said they bolted up - never listen to everyone. Heres some photos....  Right way up...  Or upside dowm (this might be the go.....)  And the hole would go through here somehow with the top lip cut off.  Look familiar to anyone?? Any thoughts??? Cheers Jeremy The G will roll again.... |

I did have a set on my old hq coupe and they did a good job although they are not a direct bolt up. You need to trim the top and bottom down a tad for the radiator hoses along with the sides for clearance. With mine, we just used some basic L shaped brackets to mount it to the radiator. Got an auto electrician to rig up a switch to automatically turn the fans on running off a sensor in the top radiator hose. The only disadvantage I can think of this conversion is that the blow back from the fans blew air over the extractors so your feet got a bit hot inside the car!
