Why? is it something rational or just your emotions running a bit wild? Cheers, Jim...

Vandals and graffiti "artists" do everyone a favour and target parking meters and fixed speed cameras only.

Most people on a busy road dont slow coming to a roundabout even if a car on their left is stopped partially on the roundabout, sort of a bluff tactic forcing the give way to the right and completely ignoring the fact that the other car has the right of way because it is on the roundabout.

Sort of defeats the purpose of having roundabouts, ie to allow traffic to flow.

A scenario I encounter all to often, especially in the truck. Doing a nice slow right hand turn on a small roundabout with a fully loaded truck and car trailer and people come flying into the roundabout and give you the old hands up in the air like you pulled out in front of them.

The other good one is giving way at intersections. Giving way means allowing enough room for the vehicle travelling in the other direction to slow down enough to avoid a collision. If youre in a slow moving vehicle and someone has to slow down to allow you time to complete your maneuver then you havent always infringed their right of way.

Similar thing happened to me.I look down the road and a cars about a quarter of a mile away so I pull out and he accelarates, he screams up behind me, flashing lights and blowin his horn....if he hadnt sped up he would have had no trouble. If you got time to acc, lights ,horn, you had time to drive normal? So i followed him into a car park and went mental at him,but he wouldnt get out of the car...man I was spewing ,must learn to keep my temper down...lol

On the other hand, my selling conditions on major items are that I only sell using paypal or pay on pick up. Got sick of being stuffed around.

I factor the ebay & paypal fees into my starting price or reserve.

And I cant understand why some sellers insist on making a buyer wait until paypal has deposited the money into the their bank account, or they want a paypal levy, on principle I wont bid if that is the deal.

I have been watching an item that I want for a couple months now and the guy wants a paypal levy, every time he relists it I tell him Ill buy it minus the levy, take it or leave it he says... I reckon theres plenty of fish in the sea another one will crop up.

I hate those people that whinge and bitch about Ebay and Paypal fees but still sell on Ebay.... Ebay rules are if you sell on Eaby you must accept Paypal.... If you dont like the rules or the fees... DONT sell your stuff on Ebay... pretty farken simple.

If you want $10 for your part and Ebay and Paypal fees are going to be $3.50 then start the auction at $13.50.... or are you too stupid and cant do simple mathmatics.

ITCH.... like it or not that is in direct violation of Ebays terms and conditions of use... you are in the wrong and can be reported to Ebay for breach of their policy... if you sell on Ebay you MUST accept Paypal...

YOU ACCEPTED the terms and conditions when you signed up so dont go calling the winning bidder a knob because he chose to pay by any one of your accepted payment methods which he is fully entitled to do under the "Accepted Payments Policy". The "smart" sellers simply add the fees onto the start price and no one is the wiser....

Oh, and my previous post wasnt targeting you specifically although you seem to have taken it personally... perhaps because I used $10 for my example amount which was just a round number and not aimed at you. Why are you using Ebay if you dont want to give the USA money? Thats where all the Ebay fees youre paying are going.... you should be supporting the Aussie auction site..with no Paypal

As it seems you havent read Ebays policy here it is...

Misleading & Discouraging Payments

Sellers who state in their listing that they accept certain payment methods must not selectively offer those payment methods to buyers or discourage buyers from using those payment methods.

This means that sellers must always accept payment from buyers through the payment methods they have selected in their Payment Details section of their listing, and must not act in any way to discourage buyers from paying by these methods.

This policy is not only limited to communications made in listings, but also includes all correspondence between a seller and buyer that relates to an eBay transaction.

PayPal may also take action against sellers, in accordance with its User Agreement and applicable policies.

Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions including:

Listing cancellation

Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings

Limits on account privileges

Loss of PowerSeller status

Account suspension
