Any XA/xc sedan tailshaft should fit. Just make sure you have the right yoke. The tailshaft in my XB coupe came out of a XC sedan.

Make that any XA to early EA sedan shaft should fit. Later EAs went to bigger uni joints so avoid a shaft that has the uni retaining clips on the outside of the joints.

And here I was wondering if the XD to XF would fit. So there should be no shortage of tailshafts fcr us then.

No Ute, Wagon and Fairlane all have the longer wheelbase than sedan and hardtop. LTD was longer again than Fairlane.
