I had words with a fella at the pub (very heated) and he was telling me my ute is not original cause you can see a faint crease either side of the tray. His HJ has no creases. I told him that he was a D***head who didn't know what he was talking about. Could anyone tell me if it is suppose to have them or not so I can put him in his place or feel shameful.

I've wondered about them, too, actually. The one-owner HQ ute I've just bought has them, and it's never been panel-beaten. (We've known the family since the ute was new.) Figured they were just part of the styling, as they do seem symmetrical. Hard to

The lines are factory and if his doesn't have them, then yep his is full of bog. It is called a return curve. The entire panel curves outwards along the length, but curves inwards up and down, along that top section. And it does make a small dent hard to |

Take a weak fridge magnet back to the pub and demonstrate how it wont stick to Bog. He'll be checking the panel every time he washes his pride and joy now.
