I dont hate Pay Puss but I dont like the way they gouge you for "their" share of the postal money on top of the item price. I also see Paypal as eBay double dipping from sellers. They should charge either sellers fees OR PayPal fees but not both.

Workaround add a 5% markup on the actual postage cost to cover the paypal fees on that postage and then offer the buyers a small postage discount on the postage if paying by other means. It does not contravene eBays policy about penalising users paying by a particular method (read PayPal).

A while ago some clown paid me for an item using a thing called a PayPal E-cheque. The damn thing took over a week before the money showed up in my Paypal account let alone my bank account so now I no longer have 5 full stars in my seller feedback for postage time despite me sending the item as soon as I actually had the money.

ok, i will condense this story.
12mths ago, sold a HQ muncie gearbag and shifter bellhousing, pressure plate the whole shootin match to a dude in WA. did all the mucking around, pallet pack, wrap properly, drive 1.5hrs to drop it off at depot after the donut paid paypal and did all this with no thanks mind you.
anyways get an email form ebay saying the turkey has put in a claim saying its wrong item. wtf? sez me???? it came out of a HQ manual and was going to go into a 350 HQ auto for a conversion, so all had to be correct and there(conversion never eventuated, hence selling off the conversion)and complete.
so i asked what was wrong, he didnt reply and i didnt here squat back. i sent another email the next week saying, "oii, whats going on?" i get an email back saying he wants a refund and i said fine but i want the item back. didnt hear squat again and next thing you know, paypal are trying to take the money back out of my account. well, did the hair on my mediteranain back rise and i emailed paypal saying dont even think about it without some kind of substance in your claim, nothing back, so i called them on contact numbers, gave them a razz, they still took the money, can you believe that??
called them back again, told another person the situation, got money back into my acoount, changed account numbers linked to paypal, they kept emailing me sayng their little deposits didnt work with the new numbers, and there aint a thing they can do about it and i said jamn it up your and those that use paypal when instructed not to.
prik that bought the kit from us tried to scam it and nearly did all with the aid of paypal.dont trust paypal or those that use it

they just dunn get it....simple thing made hard due to their brain damaged ideas of thinking that they are going to get ripped off. i sold some stuff to a toss pot in sydney thats has a green and white pro street FC wagon that was in street machine a few months ago, and he paid paypal due to the fact he said "just to be safe as i dont really trust people" well mitch you cretin, you didnt get what you need from me, donut

LOL. I am on second tier merchant rate which means I put over 15k a month through paypal. (10% of my sales are paid through paypal). i am fine with it, the costs are comparable to credit card rates

Ive read his ad - have you? It says bank deposit preferred. Do you know the diff between preferred and required? all that crap he wrote before about "paypal only" was just that - crap. here is the ad
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/e...ewItem&item=130373407273

so as you can see, when he said in another thread

"Yep Im with U on that one WRECKED , sold a trim for a 55-57 Chev for 10 bucks ( I stated Bank depot only ) wot did this knob do, you guessed it Paypals me GTFO"

and

"Its pretty farkin simple when I state " DONT BID UNLESS PAYED VIA BANK DEPOSIT" thus means dont Farkin Bid! so who is the dumb Carnt!!! FU are you that dumb ...."

you can see he is talkin out of his arse

Thanks: 2 times
I wasnt gunna say any more about this but...

Ebay OWNS paypal.
Ebay employs lots of bean counters to maximise their profit.
Ebay is a profit making business, not a charity.
If you use ebay you are agreeing to their rules.
The agreed rule is buyers can use paypal the seller has NO choice.
Sellers cant leave neg feedback regardless of how we get screwed.

Some other guys here would have gone right into the ebay rule book, I havent. But I would imagine that if we are paid by paypal the deal is done there and then and we have no right to make people wait until paypal transfers the funds into our bank accounts. My missus buys as much as I sell so the money is never with paypal for too long anyway.

Like I said before work out what fees you will be up for plus another 10% and add it onto your starting price or reserve, imagine it as a buyers premium, there is no rule against that.

You get horror stories about ebay and paypal from both buyers and sellers, human nature dictates that wherever there is money you will get ar5eholes.

Read the paypal protection for car buyers and the bit about what the buyer has to do to make a claim, they are jokin aint they.

You can see the buyers feedback left for others here

as you can see, the buyer hasnt left a single neg regarding paypal.

the OP is obviously a dishonest sociopath

I dont think it would be much of a fight Frank, compulsive liars are usually that way from all their inadequacies, I think there is a lot of "very small man" syndrome inside this sociopath.
