Hi Interesting topic, Hurts to admit that I have forgotten the details of this, In late HX this was of much interest for all under 30,s in the workshop when new cars started turning up for pd,s with the sway bar brackets on the diff,s. Remember rear stabilizers were still in petrol head territory those days. I think the steering arms are different also. closer out to the center of the tire to help with that ackerman principle (toe out on turns)talked about on here a few months ago. We used to fit these arms and links to Hq,s but for some reason you could not use 7 inch rims only 6 inch maximum for tie rod end clearance(fronts). So question is on RTS cars are the stub axles different also. cheers,

No, stubs are the same from HK-WB, with the tonners being heat treated the only difference. the steering arms should be the same for manual steered cars from HJ-WB. The drag link does list as different for RTS though.

WBute, HQ-WB lower arms are the same except later ones have a bigger hole cut out for shock.

The steering arm & drag link change took place during late HJ production (Feb/Mar 76). This was done to reduce steering effort on manual steer cars only & had nothing to do with RTS.

From memory they do go close to the 7" Polycast wheels.
