I have a book called. "SPECIAL" the untold story of australias Holden. by John M Wright.

I would recommend it as a very good reading of the history of Holden.
It goes on about how the FX Holden came about.
It's interesting that our FX Holden origins come from the German GM Opel mainly.
And if it was not for Hitler we most probably would not of got such an advanced designed car.
Also the money invested in australian car manufacturing after WW2 was some what to do with preparation for a most likely war with the commies.

It has a photo of Hitler with DR Ferdinand Porsche and standing with them a heavily decorated Nazi who is a black man. does anyone know who he is, and how is that so ? on PAGE 117.

What idiot comes up to you and has said to you 48/215.
Every Aussie knows what a FX Holden is.
Or would you know what a 50/2106 is or a 48/215-257.
Or how about a HR/2104
Their just model codes.
What Holden was ever designed hear none. Its called "GMH"
Maybe we could find out about the real Aussie achievement inputs.
no one willing to tackle any subject of the whole history.

It was actually a joke, and a comment on how things take on a life of their own.
