Yet another well reasoned and articulate post from our very own Francis.
ALL projects, Francis? I can think of a Mustang project priced at 1.69 Mill USD. Of course, its a real Mustang, a P-51, not the ford.

truth though, even those rare and desirable fords as projects are worth nothing, its easy to ask heaps, getting it is a totally different thing. most of us, me included, on this forum and many other forums all think(and live in a dream)these rockets we love and worship are pricless and worth gold, but wake up fellas its an enthusiasts market and its a very small one at that in this country. people say all the time "that monaro is worth heaps, or that falcon is easily worth $500 large" yeah, well when time comes to flip it and move on, try getting that "worth heaps" or "$500 large" that we all reckon its worth, youll soon see how the people change their tune when it come time to sell and buy, i deal with them everyday.
the car in question, the LS350 HQ, well if it was that good and these cars are worth so much, why hasnt it been sold prior before to ths current auction? it sold for $18800 2 weeks ago and then appeared again. the car is a project, it is what it is and thats that, nothing wrong with it, just that we all think they are hot sellers and worth heaps, regardless of monaro or GT or cooper S. oi know of good, complete, quality cars like this andeven better optioned things that cant be sold for anywhere near thier supposed "forum" or "enthusiast" value, not thier real value
Premier350, i dont care what you say, no P51 mustang is worth anywhere near that, even a peeble beach concours cadillac V16 will push to get that price in todays market, and if you want to see projects, come round, me and me old partner got 19 of them now, take ya pick, but thats your opinion, who am i to try wake you up out of a AMCS price coma
