Hi. I have just purchased a HT Monaro (big project so expect plenty more posts) which requires front /rear widnscreens and moudlings. I am getting conflicting stories about whether or not windscreens / moulds from HK/HT/HG sedans will fit the monaro. Any assistance would be appreciated.

No Alex.
The roofline of the coupe body is lower, making all glass & mouldings unique.
Dr Terry.

ht307munro..If you dont already have copies you will find the Holden Publications for HK-t-g parts catalogues very handy in your project as well as shop manuals can make life very easy also..all the very best...regards Jack.

Thanks for that. I have a couple of aftermarket shop manuals. In terms of parts catalogue there is one on ebay (link http://cgi.ebay.com.au/w...ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT). It is a genuine Holden parts catalogue, but not just for monaros? Is that what you mean? Alex |

ht307munro, Yes that would be a good start for monaro part cross referencing with other models in the HT range. By comparing part # in that parts manual you would have found the windscreens and trim for monaro are unique just like Dr Terry has said. Likewise comparing with the HK and HG manual you find the HK screen is different to the Ht and Hg screen. The Holden HK workshop manuals and supplements to cover monaro-Brougham are pretty good and with HT and HG supplements to cover any variations between the 3 models. These are just some of whats around. Others on this forum can expand on this Im sure even though its all been over before. All these publications can be difficult to find and some costly to buy as you may have noticed by now, but they do turn up occasionally. As for the windsreens you need they are still available new from many suppliers...Jack

Hi Jack.
The differences between the HK & the HT/G front screen is for Belmont & Kingswood sedans only. Premier & Brougham, as well as all wagons, vans & utes used the same screens for all three model series.
AFIAK the Monaro glass is the same for HK, HT & HG.
Parts manuals are often better than workshop manuals, especially for exploded views of many assemblies.
Dr Terry
