i need help i have the handle off by taking out the grub screw but i cant get the switch out of the dash is there a locking pin i am missing? please help

There is a nut holding it in. On a ZB it may be the whole bezel with "wipers" written on it usually undone with two screwdrivers.


Vandals and graffiti "artists" do everyone a favour and target parking meters and fixed speed cameras only.

Jim is correct.

I would like to add a little bit to his comment. You now have the black knob removed and you can see the stem of the switch. The chrome peice around the stem has a depression in it shaped like a + ("plus"). This is what you place the 2 small screwdrivers into to unscrew. You can also use a pair of correct size long nose pliers. Best of all (apart from the Ford special tool) I have also used straight or bent circlip pliers.
