Hi guys. Ive been toying with the idea of starting a BALLARAT MUSCLE CAR CLUB for a while now and i thought with a Ballarat winter on the way it might be a good time to start gathering interest so we can maybe have the ball rolling by next summer.

There are so many awesome cars around Ballarat that i think it would be great to get them together once in a while. The idea would be to have all makes/models (ford/holden/mopar etc) welcome to join. Once we get a few members we can start to drive it a bit and decide if it should be just old school cars or whatever.

I used to be a member of the now defunct 'Fitzroy muscle car club' before i moved to the sticks and I would base it on this concept which was a lot of fun. See - http://www.fitzroymusclecarclub.com/ Nothing too formal at the moment but once we get some interest we can start to organise some meet'n greets, runs, shows, BBQs, local discounts etc and most importantly, T-shirts! Down the track perhaps look at all the registration/membership s***e but first things first.

Ill be sticking my nose into all the forums I know of to garner interest and also putting up some signs in some Ballarat workshops. If you are from Ballarat or the local area and keen, please register your interest below by posting, or email me at thatdingosgotmybaby at yahoo dot com dot au. If you know of other ballarat enthusiasts too please pass this on.

The idea is to get together informally and make it fun. No cooler than cool arguments about makes and models etc. Just fun and a general appreciation of everyones dedication to their beast, whether they be concourse or s***heap! So if you wanna walk the walk and talk the torque, lets get the ball rolling!

None of which are actually on the road at the moment but I hope to rectify that by the time we can get something going with this club idea.. Cheers.
