Could you tell me does the motor require reconditioning or was it a good runner before you pull the top end off?

Bores are in very good condition and would only require a hone to be used again and yes the engine was running when removed around 7-months ago it would require rings bearings cam/lifters and gasket kit to be in a1 condition.The reason for sale is the rec
