Hi Team

Can anyone tell me if the disk pedal ever came with a chrome/stainless surround like the auto ones did??

Cheers

My dics braked manual HK has the stainless insert in the brake pedal pad. Can only assume a HG would be the same.

Jeremy.

AFAIK, the stainless outer trim was only fitted as standard to Brougham, Deville & Caprice (HK-HZ). It will fit all other models with the wider 'auto' brake pedal but I've never seen one fitted to any 'manual' brake pedal in those series.

Thanks Bob/Terry

I've never seen one either - but I've only taken an interest for 6 months now so that doesn't mean much.

Bob - can you post a pic of your pedal please??

Cheers

Jeremy

I might have given you a bum steer. I was thinking of the stainless insert in the pedal pad, as per the pic below. Bob

Thanks Bob

So none had the stainless surround, but some had different wording with stainless insert.

Maybe HK was like yours and T-G was like mine then??

Thanks for the photo.

Cheers

As Terry said, the stainlss surround wasauto pedal and accellerator pedal in Brougham and Caprice, which were auto only.

The metal DISC BRAKE insert is HK to HJ and the one shown with the wording in the rubber is HX on. The auto and manual have different size insert.
