Does the floor pan (ie front, middle and underneath rear seats) from a HT sedan etc fit into a HT Monaro? Thanks.

They should be the same floorpan when compared between vehicles using the same gearbox, shifter configuration and seating. Apart from the additions of bucket seat mounts and shifter mount the steel should be the same between all of them bar the Saginaw pressing. We've used a HK Kingswood sedan floorpan to repair a HK GTS floorpan.

Thanks. When you replaced the floor pan how did you go about it? The entire drivers side first etc or entire front(ie passenger and drivers side), then middle section, rear? I don't want to weaken the car by removing too much in one go.

Long time ago on my mate's HK GTS. From memory he left the tunnel and 1 x rear floorpan. Unpicked at the firewall join, and cut it out, grinding the old floor off the top of the underfloor members and also off the inner sills. Unpicked the donor floor by drilling out spotwelds along the inner sills and along the underbody members and also at the firewall joint. Then put it in place and dressed to butt against the cut at the tunnel, and migged the spotweld holes to the inner sills and underbody members. Also a good idea to clean out the inside of the members and paint when the old floor is removed, plus dress and paint (with weld-tru primer) along the spotweld joints on the donor floor and the bits staying (inner sills and firewall).

Will a HG sedan floor pan fit the HT monaro? Is the boot floor the same between sedans and monaro's? Is there any difference between a HG sedan / ute subframe and HT monaro? Lots of questions but your assistance is appreciated?

As far as I know HK-HG floorpan and boot floor are the same for sedan and coupe, apart from (as above) front seat mounts, shifter mount and Sagnaw hump. Rear wheel arch inners are the same too. Front subframe for HT and HG is interchangeable.

The factory referred to by Petaus has today confirmed they are NOT doing the floor pan or sections for the HKTG series. For HT307munro you are relieved from waiting.Rare Spares has the floor pan sections as an ongoing product.

It did not all go down the toilet HKTG front fenders and bonnets were made as well as sills and rear beavers . Other panels are on the way we will keep everybody informed once the panels are completed and tested. What the Tour Director was saying is they are not at this stage making rust sections or complete floor pans Les
