Hi 327HK have you had any luck finding a HT coded block for the LX SLR5000 ? What sort of coin are they worth ?

no luck yet one sold on ebay for $1800.00 and i believe they can fetch $2000 for a complete engine.
are you looking for one or have one for sale

Just wondering what they go for Colin . My son came across a 308 for his WB ute and when i saw the HT code on the block i did some research to see what it originally came out of . I was suprised to find it was from an LX SLR5000 . He bought it complete with VN heads and fuel injection and was told it had a 286 cam and was worked . My son has since put a twin throttle body on it now and it goes very well . He doesnt want to sell it yet but will keep you in mind if he does Colin . Good luck with your search . Tony

mate it is 11wt motor i want $1500 motor / box trimatic still in car can have a look if need be but it comes out next week as its getting a 350 chev in it email address is [email protected] if keen iam in brisbane southside thank jason
