Is there a commie 4 speed auto that will adapt up to a red 186-202 that doesn't need a computor to make it run?

no computer on a vn-vp tranny, there was a plce in melbourne that did lots of different bellhousing conversion look on the net

but you will need to rig something up for the lock up convetor if you want it to work.

Lock up converter?????? Sorry Petaus,this has me confused.What is it and what do I need to rig up. Peter. PS thanks for the model info.

vn- vp were non eletronic style box, vr on used engine computer to change gears, all of these boxes have a lock up stlye torque convertor, on vn-p it used the speedo head siginal to the computer to activate the lock up convetor, this is widely discussed here on the forum as the box is often used in conversions into other cars, there are a couple differnt was to get this to work, im sure the hk818 will add more info i think electronics is his cup of tea. pete. hk will you solder up my oxygen sensor box if i send it to you, my hands are to shakey now lol
