Just got given one by the guy who's doing the metalwork on my HQ. Wondering if it's worth making an effort to sell, or just keeing as a spare. I had a horror run with radiators recently. Haha.

Thanks: 2 times
Too right Cloudy, every time you get rid of something you will need the bludger the next week. Or worse still is when you see something and you say "nah, don't need it", within two weeks you will, lol.

Fair call. I've had a horror run with radiators of late. After my prang a fair while back the "reconditioned" unit that i pulled out of a non-paying customer's car, leaked. Badly. So i sourced a second hand one.

Ran fine for a while, then i dropped a small socket, hit fan (motor running) smashed radiator. Tried in vain to solder up several times, damage was too much. So i scored a 350 chev one, necks right sides, wrong size. Lathe'd up brass step down necks, soldered in. Ran fine for a while..... very close to fan.

Put new 2.5inch exhaust on, flange stuck out further than before. Backing into garage for first time, catches concrete lip, flexes motor on mounts, fan gouges radiator.

Buy new NATRAD unit. Few months later, my car's back in bare metal for a full rebuild and i'm given this one. Haha.

Might keep it as a spare, for now, and if i meet a restorer i'll quizz them.

Hi,
A NOS radiator if original GMH would definately be worth keeping as they are dated on the top tank.
I am actually looking for a 6cyl top tank with G 3 pressed into it, if anyone has one or even two.

Mike
