Hi everyone having probs with the wagon. Right from when i got her on the road its had a surging prob and going round corners with low revs will cause a miss or two. I had all the electrics checked out and there was a prob with the dizy burning out the points as someone had put the wrong condencer in, so with all that fixed i put a carby kit through the stromberg tuned it all up and it seemed ok. After only 30 ks or so she was back to running like s*** again! Took it back to my mates workshop and put it on the diognostic machine and we have found on idle all is well, as the revs come up it runs very lean then when revs get high it goes real rich. All electrics are working perfect now and if you give it some choke it runs quite well.So we are thinking maybe someone has put the wrong jets in at some stage or the carb is warn and drawing air from somwhere. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated thanks.Chris......

Yes if you would like to compare six fingered banjo players with a restoration expert , use Mick at MLP Carbs . Melbourne Carb are cheap and thats where it stops . Some will fluke a good carb from them , but....

I've always used Sprint Carburettors on Bridge Rd at Pooraka. Not exactly South but I got a Strommy off them about a year ago and it fixed all my issues.

Cheers,
