it is becomeing a swap meet full of the stuff that should have been thrown in th ebin years ago. Everyone thinks that someone will pay top dollar for stuff that is worthless. (just like at swap meets)

Don't worry most times it doesn't sell, it's all to do with what the market will bear. Same applies to this sort of item... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/w...gories%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1Starting price sounds like wishful thinking, this is one of plenty on there at the moment with sellers who aren't prepared to see what the market want's to pay. Trouble is if they don't sell first time the lookers get cold feet and will be wary next time it's listed, how many times have we seen the same cars over and over again.

That car lived outside Caulfield Racecourse Hotel for years , he would never sell it and finally it hit ebay and went to Adelaide. He then put it for sale in the good times and was very greedy on the price for what it is , now times are bad he still wants to much and no one will pay . He got offered more in better times though . that car has been for sale a few times now, a friend of mine nearly got it off the seller for a reasonable price and then he bought a better one for less
as jimmy boys sez, its to expensive for the average schmuck, but then again, so was a white van that was on evilbay just the other week..
as i have said many many many times before and will say it again, its very easy for all us enthusiasts to say these certain cars/parts/services are sooooo valuable and desired and worth heaps, selling them and getting that "heaps" isnt as easy as you think
as the title of this thread says "ebay madness", let me tell you, this madness is stopping, its coming to a screeching halt.

Agreed Frank. Its all a bit silly. Whenver I say I have a couple of sandmans people tell me theyre worth 25 - 30k... They might get advertised for that, but....
