Picked up a Ford radio today, it has a CD Casstte and AM/FM and a security code.
Which Ford would it be out of. does anyone have the plug and wiring harness and wiring diagram?

Hello John,
Could you post a photo up and we might be able to identify it. To get the security code you'll have to go to a Ford dealer armed with the VIN number of the donor vehicle and proof that the stereo is not stolen.

bought it at the local tip (reycling area in politically correct terms) for $3.
Will have a look at google first, thanks Jim, fogot about them before.
Don't have a problem with going to Ford, have a tip receipt.

Ford don't keep the codes for anything older than TEN years.

most likely a ea-el era deck, theyd be the only ones i can think of that are DIN and security coded

but thats a pretty obvious one

If it has cd and cassette it sounds like it would have to be double din. I'm guessing its from an AU as I would have thought most earlier ones would have a CD player add on rather then a full integrated unit.
