I need some advice, This is DEFINITELY NOT SINISTER! I had my car stolen last night, It's a VN commodore 90 or 91 Model, The B***ARDS ripped the ignition apart and hotwired it, I am not in a great financial position to get it towed and need some advice to somehow start it to get it home, (they dumped it 1.5km from my home, on a side street.) Please, ANY HELP would be GREATLY appreciated.

They did not hot wire, they broke the switch mechanism off the back of the ignition barrel.
They then use an air con controll to operate the switch, you can use a small screw driver.
To rpair get a new "switch" from the wrckers, two small screws remove the switch from the barrel. It is the same all the way to VS.
You may need to remove the steering lock by removing the steering wheel or lock itself.

Thank You Warren, u were right, It's home and u saved me $200 on towing fees. The air con knob was ripped off. And a screwdriver did the trick. Thanks again...

That was my next option, Just wasn't sure if it was legal in the city, but it is legal as long as it's not peak hr traffic, and u make the rope clearly visible. Thanks again 4 the advice.

Design systems for my friends so their cars do not get stolen. Have yet to loose a car. When you know how they do it you can stop them.
