They are looking at turnover in total , $20,000 and over they will audit or monitor as a potential business .If you advertise on ebay with a high reserve then cant you remove the item from sale and negotiate with the bidders ? seperate of ebay ? i agree with the swapmeet issue no taxman over your shoulder there!!! just pure cash :-).

Yeah its the idiots who ask stupid money for cars and parts on eBay and carsales etc..... Then people say "they are selling for x amount on eBay/carsales"....Are they actually selling for that much? no, just because they put ridiculous prices on things, doesnt mean they are selling for that much.
