Has anyone has any experience with the Lokar products? I'm specifically interested in their Column Cable Shift Linkage kit. It looks like these are designed for LHD cars, but I thought it might be easier to try and get something like this to work than to track down an OEM T400 mechanical linkage.

Car in question is HQ Premier, 304, T400. Would really like to maintain the column shift if I can. I'll go to a floor shift if it all gets too hard, but will exhaust this route first I think.

Are there any other companies like Lokar that offer these kind of kits, Aussie made would be tops.

Cheers, Al

Hi there,
I have purchased a couple of column shift linkages for HQ and fitted them successfully. One was a 308/ T350 combo and the other was a 308/T400. Both appeared to be GMH manufactured and work fine. I have aslo modified one to suit my current 304/T700 combo and it works ok.
I bough the linkage set ups on Ebay. I have one complete linkage set that I will not use and would be happy to sell it.

Good luck
