Just wondering if Rares do or are going to do the end caps which go on the metal interior trim which sits on top of the doors? I have seen some repros on eBay but the guy wants over $50 bucks each for them. I think $50 for a little piece of metal is a bit much. Cheers, Glenn.

The samples for use in tooling have already been sent to the factory and off tool samples are due in the next few weeks.

if you think its too much, work out your phone calls, time, stress, grief, fuel money in chasing them and i'd reckon once you sorta thought about it, you quickly click the buy it now button if you could. think about what $50 buys today, not much... even $45 buys you 15mins of my time mate, lucky i'm not billing you for this info yeah man; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OL3P1pP1wAQGS man...

I don't know how Deano can do these for $50. Some of those bends in them are not straight forward at all, and working with such a thin small piece in a press. someone did look into doing them a few years ago. Explained in detail what was required to make them and found the exercise way too costly. We would have had to sell them at $120+ each for the small run volume (ridiculous). They are all individually different is the problem. And i'm convinced that Deano has done them not for profit, but to keep more cars in circulation? I have'nt seen his work to date, so better in fairness to him refrain from saying any more.
