My mates got an xa ute and it needs a windscreen ,what models fit?IE sedan ,ute, van ,coupe.......lucky bugger got given it.good condition 351 4sp 9"...no rust shedded for 29yrs.lucky bugger.

Any falcon or fairlane screen from XA to XC will fit except the coupe ones not that they are thick on the ground.

no worries jim, sounds like he got bit of a jewel. Is it a factory 351? Out of curiosity does it has a GS dash in the thing?

gs dash yes ALL factory? 302c out to a 351c factory tags are...get this..eng ytrans L paint 3..?polar white? trim B ....what a gem no rust....jelous as.I make that out to be a 302 4sp white black interior jan1973...is that right?

Hey Jim,
sounds right to me. Only thing I'm not sure on is the year and month as I dont know the vin but I'm sure you got that right. Bit hard to tell a factory GS. Check behind the dash and see if the wiring looks original. Check to see if it's a XA or XB GS dash. They are a little bit different. Got any photos? I'd be putting in Fairmont/GT door trims, padding the glovebox and putting the original bits in a safe corner. Has the car got the GS/GS grille with the driving lights? Oh one thing, if there is no rust in the car tell your mate to keep it that way. Get the thing treated. He is a lucky bugger isn't he.

Hi Paul,Its been a while since I was up there with the fords,sold my xagt rpo coupe 20 yrs ago,but seeing this one brought it all back,it all looks right to me,door trims?hard to get and he wont do things right which is a waste and shame,I've tried to tell him how rareish this car is and it just goes over his head,so I wont be spending too much time on it.enthusiest car ,fluffy dice owner.grill not gs just a fake made up one,it was a factory falcon 500 I think ,dont know how to tell any different,but I can tell you when I look at a gt as I mostly just had coupes all black n silver gt paint outs,in fact i also painted the xagt coupe black ,it was jewel green,before I knew what i know now!20yrs ago!DOH!

You were't near crows nest 20 odd years ago were you? Driving lights on the XAs and XB GSs were optional. Please don't let him do anything silly to the ute. You can always hide his body and get another friend. Another XA ute in good nick is harder to find :)
