Anyone a motorcylist here? I can imaging a few of you old holden dudes with kwaka 900 and mongrel GSR-Xs hiding in the shed. Who rides?

Gotta put my hand up for that one although my big bike days are over...after 15 or 16 years of over 1,000 cc bikes, I finally got sick of the big maintenance bills.

Got an XF650 Suzi these days.

Tell me about the cost! Tyre on big bikes are develishly expensive. Chain and sprocket set for my 600 costs $240.

$240? Cheap....Last set of chain and sprokets for one of my GS1000s was over $300 and that was....ummm...8 or 9 years ago...and the buggers only lasted about 12,000 - 15,000 k's...that's why I went shaft drive and then to the 650.

I have always ridden,its in my blood, I am 43yo and there has not been one day since I was old enough to have a bike licence that I have not owned a registered motorcycle, always a different bike, Honda 750K2,Suzuki 1100Katana,Kawasaki LTD440

One day i'll be blasting down the hyway on my XS650 rigid , Just gotta do the HK munro then the XY van then finally (when i'm about 75), I can pull the old chopper out of the corner and totally lose myself.
