hi all I am doing achange over reco motor on the hz and was wondering is there any value in keeping the stuffed motor (a) if it is the original motor and has not been bored out and just givbing repco another old stuffed one. I was told original unbastrdized blocks are becoming hard to find

Definitely keep yours, especially if it matches the car. Personally I'd take yours down and get it recoed, rather than end up with a block alien to the car eg a blue block.

I'm with Byron on this one. If you can afford the extra time it takes, and the extra cash it normally takes, to have yours rebuilt, do it. If you are committed to a reco, then get a stuffed motor from the wrecker (or from on here) to give to the reco gu
