the trim is supposed to be black... not slate grey... as for the runs in the paint... they dont look good on a car entered in concours.... i didnt judge it but if i did they were the only things i could fault on it... it was a beautiful car...

And The Nasco T shirts are illegal , they are not Rare Spares / Holden Restoration Parts approved , but its for my own use so thats ok !!! So on that note i cant sell you one or give you one Al !!!
Did Nicks shoulder pull up alright after all the bowling over the weekend ? Those shirts he had made up were better than my Nasco one !!!

Al, yeah agree those shirts cracked me up . Also my Panno Van from factory has runs under the bonnet as has just about all 50 HKTGs i have owned have also. I think you will find it was done deliberately to replicate what was , it would not have been due to poor workmanship . And i doubt anyone else could have got a car to such a high standard in such a short time frame , with all the dramas of dealing with restortion people and parts suppliers which is a night mare i know first hand myself . As for Trim, well most of the repro stuff is not like theoriginal ,so thats a tough one for us all . So its a credit to him for getting the car there at all in my opinion. Its always hard to put yourself out there , i take my hat off to anyone who entered a car to be judged at the Nationals . www.monaromuscleparts.comEdited by user Wednesday, 8 September 2010 8:04:51 AM(UTC)

yeah its not a criticism its a great car.... why it didnt win i dont know.... but if the judges didnt know he was replicating factory paint runs they may have deducted points.... someone knows what he was deducted points for... Edited by user Wednesday, 8 September 2010 8:12:07 AM(UTC)
