g'day everyone im looking at a 5 Speed Borg Warner out of a VH for my VK, the 5 Speed Borg Warner is currently behind a 202 and will be put behind my 202, is there anything i should look out for with the 5 Speed Borg Warner??? would a 4 speed be better than the 5? are the 5 Speed's tougher than the 4's?
any info is greatly helpful

mate they arent the strongest box thats forsure if your going to be giving it a bit of stick i would be looking at getting a toyota 5 speed cause the borg warner wont last that long, if your just going to cruz then it will do the job but again a celica or even better a supra box will be alot nicer to drive

Hi, make sure it is a 6cly borg warner ( gear stick should be about 120mm from end of tail shaft housing , 4cly s are in a diffferent position ) I have not seen many of these boxes broken , but most are behind VH & VK fours over here with not enough power to ever wear them out !! But I think much easyer conversion than to toyota . Mark

They are a bit fragile...but if you don't thrash it, it will go for ages....I had one...lasted until some prick stole the car on me..
