Hi all, how close can you narrow down the date a HK monaro was built?

some car parts like steering boxes are date stamped so if its the original part you might get lucky. I have a 66 pontiac built in Adelaide and is body number 2 , I pulled out the original shockers from the car which were dated 12/65.

Also there was a date code stencilled on the firewall end of the steering column. On another thread there is more detail about where to find date stamps.

Thanks 80569K and cloudy, I'm talking more about the assembly date of the car not the individual parts though....Jack

Send me the details including the engine number and i'll see what I can get for you. Should be able to narrow it down to a month/year.
