At the moment in my (daily driver) HR Panny I have a 179HP with a 149 head, a 350 Holley, extractors and a unknown mild cam. This was all dynoed ( about a year ago) with minor mods done to carby and a elec. dizzy recurve to give it (wait fo it) 90hp at the wheels through a 5spd and a 3.08 banjo. With the fuel and price that we have now I'm thinking it's time for the head to be done to run ULP. My main concern is, doing the rounds of the swap meets, I reguarly see 186-202 (Yella Terra?) heads for sale that have had the mods done for ulp. Would using a 186-202 Y/T head be going the wrong way ? Performance-Economy, Or would I be better off getting the head that I have recond ? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Steve.

I'm not too familar with Holden 6 engines, but have heard the 186S head was a good one, and coupled with the two barrel stromberg carby and inlet manifold the little 186 had very close Horsepower output to a standard 307 Chev.
Don't quote me on that thou
