hey guru's i recently rebuilt my clutch master cylinder, honed out bore slightly and fitted all new rubbers.I filled it with dot4 fluid and now found it to be leaking inside the cab.Could it be the type of fluid i used ,more thinner or something.any help would be good.

your cylinder is stuffed, get it rebuilt with a stainless steel liner, never wear out again. or you can buy new ones. I notice the trailer people use ones that are awfully similar, but am not sure if the same.

the cylinder is the cast iron type,not the alloy ones.if this helps any.

DOT3 fluid is slightly more viscous than DOT4 & does seem to leak less past defective seals. But having said that, a leak is still a leak, regardless of whether it is fast or slow. DOT4 has a higher boiling point, but that isn't really required for clutch hydraulics.
What johnperth has said is correct, the bore will most likely be your problem & a stainless sleeve job is the way to go.
