Hi Guys,
Picked up a 1969 HT Kingswood yesterday with an original 49,000 miles on the clock for the sum of $2,000.
The Kingswood has the odd scrape and bump on the exterior but the inside is like it rolled off the factory floor!
She is a 186 Powerglide with 4 brand new tyres and is still on the original black and white number plates she was sold with new way back in 69.
She has been registered continually since then!! That's just over 1,000 miles per year!
Original sale books in the glovebox confirm all of the above!
Cheers,
Allan

Great find. Awesome car to leave looking bog standard, but replace driveline with a SBC and column shift TH350. Maybe some 6" standard rims with hubcaps too!

I agree Byron.... the best car at the Loxton Monaro nationals by far was the Ermine White with goya red interior, column auto, bench seat 5 1/2 inch rims with kingy hubcaps.... with a 327 under the hood.... smokin hot car.... it got my peoples choice vote and plenty of others as it won the award cheers Al

survivor class car? At any rate it sounds like you got much of a good thing there. And the wolf in sheeps clothes sounds good too (sbc).

If my HJ Premier was a 202 I would have gone down the SBC or even BBC route with it, and it is a 108,000kM original untouched survivor. The only reason it is staying as it is is because it is a 308 TH400 car.

Basically... Google Photobucket. Join it. Upload a photo as per prompts. Click on the uploaded photo. Click on "SHARE" (pull down menu at the top of the photo). Click on the first box (full size) in "IMG for bulletin boards & forums". A link code in the "LINK CODE" box will appear. Highlight and copy the whole link code. Paste that into your reply on Fastlane. Go back to Photobucket and click "SAVE" on the link page. Create an album and put the photo in it. If you delete the photo later it will disappear from Fastlane. Hope that helps. Bob. Edited by user Monday, 25 October 2010 10:12:23 PM(UTC)
