Hi guys, anyone no what changes they made to the High output 6cyl compared to the Turbofire 6 cyl to get the extra power. ie carb, head, cam. Cheers Bazza.

Info I have suggest two 6 Cylinder engine were used.
115.6 Kw at 4200RPM and 381.6 Nm of torque

The other 134.3 Kw at 4600RPM and 318.6 Nm of torque

No info on specs of Cam or Induction.

Greetings, The 250 used a monojet carby whilst the 250 HO used a 2GV. There may have been other internal tweaks but the carby is a big one.

you missed 1 ozchevy they also used a 230ci Turbo Thrift 140 hp plus the 250ci Turbo Fire 155 hp and the 250ci high Output 180 hp. Must have been a bit more than just a 2bbl carb to gain an extra 25 hp.
