Hi

I have just bought the RS HK-G Dash lens and I noticed that they are the wrong shape and as a consequence, they dont fit into the dash.

I will be returning them to Prospect NSW very soon for a refund.

cheers

Well they are part # DIL1010 - Clear Plastic Dash Lens Kit HT HG NOT GTS.

They are two clear lens that replace the original dash lens. Just like the original lens they have a small tab at the top.

When I took out the old lens and put in the RS lens, they dont fit as they have been cut incorrectly. So I thought I would use the old lens and wash them ever so carefully, since they were the right shape.

Hi Tranx

I know the product DIL1010 that you are referring too but what i was more interested in knowing is what do you think is actually wrong with the lens's, you mention the cut was incorrect, but the cut where? At the tab or the whole lens?

These were tested by ourselves when they were first being developed as well as an independent Monaro specialist so im in need of some more specific information so I can look into any issue's your having

There were some slight variations in lens's in relation to an additional hole, I believe a centre hole has to be drilled out on HT Brougham's for the clock adjuster if memory serves me right, but other then the hole every large size lens should be interchangeable, we never made a brougham specific kit due to the lack of demand

Feel free to PM/Email me if you like
