Some will die doing that, retards. Its against the law to walk into a press. They also need another press for cutting edges/stamping flutes to do it properly.I also doubt the quality.Still if you build it they will come!

i have seen the gaurds they look good, so i guess long as they fit on the a car ok whats the differnce????
some one here my have experiance with panel stamping but from what i read one panel my have three four or more different stamping dies to get the finished product, why would they make a die for standard gaurds then one for gts at my guess same die the flutes are just added on another die tool seperate, i guess the same would of happened with the saginaw hump and big tank hump in the boot just used standard panels and added another pressing operation. would love to see how the make the dies.

Stamping panels properly can and usually does take 8 dies ,4 upper and 4 lower. What you see in the video is classed as step one, there are 4 steps usually the next step (2)bends down the outer edges and would stamp down flutes then the next (3)would cut the flute holes after bending, that kind of process. The metal used for stamping
has to be done in increments ,otherwise splitting and deformation occurs.I work where they do it for holden, thats the reason that I know.Very interesting to watch.(but loud as f@#k)P.S.To answer you step question ,they also have a "pass thru table"so for instance leave out step 3 for a standard guard then put the die back in and presto your stamping flutes.the whole process is quite technical ,but thats the basic run down, the more steps ,the greater the quality problems, obviously.Hope this helps, thats why one step stamping is restricted.Good stuff thou .!!

it's in china, no rules/laws over there, if someone dies in a die (irony?) then they scrape him off and keep going, sad but true!

Dave,They actually do have laws, but your kind of right as they are not enforced, which
gets me thinking they are only there to cover "legislation practices"that covers them
for any wrong doing. Now before people get on here an say then "don't buy Chinese"..I DONT.

with such a large population people are seen as expendable, one dies at work they would be replaced within the hour, and people complain about their jobs over here !
