Well it looks like I am going to pick up that dead VL tomorrow. Bieng as it probably has blocked injectors I saw a VL at my local tip last time I was there. I am wondering if I should remove the inlet manifold off that. It may be easier to just unbolt the head.

My question is does the RB30 have allen head bolts holding the clylinder head on like earlier Nissans do or are they normal bolts?

vl head bolts r allen type and it is a lot easier to pull both at same time if ur back is strong enough

Bugger so they are allen bolts like earlier Nissans. Can you remember what size allen key I'll need?
